Sabotage (SBTG)'s work explores the realm of alternative advertising in a time when signs and advertisements were still painted by hand. "I love the smell of napalm in the morning... smells like.... Victory!!" (Kilgore) was a line from the movie Apocalypse Now (1979) that sparked the creation of an alternate use of the famous soft drink bottle as a Molotov cocktail. Advertised on an apron for the SBTG workshop.
Says Mark Ong, "I would love to spark off the possibility to explore the inspirations and creative urges into physical form even if they don't make sense. As long as they make you happy."
Mark Ong (aka Mr Sabotage or SBTG), is an artist and runs his own business. He works together with his wife, Mrs Sabotage, and his brother. They are most well-known for sneaker designs that they collaborate with other brands to make and for their customised painted ones. They have recently crossed over into painting on larger mediums.
